Dr. James Cain had spent over ten years in the Navy flying F-14s when he decided to pursue a second career in medicine. He graduated from the University of Washington School of Medicine in 2001 and went on to specialty train in General Surgery in California. During that time, he crossed trained in plastic surgery to include breast augmentation, tummy tucks, liposuction, blepharoplasty, Botox and dermal fillers. He arrived back on the Olympic Peninsula in 2006 and has been practicing here since. As a Board Certified Surgeon, none are more qualified to handle the complexities and subtleties of aesthetic surgery than Dr Cain. He is committed to the people of the North Peninsula and continues to practice General and Trauma Surgery through Olympic Medical Center.
Dr Cain’s character was shaped through combat during Desert Storm in 1991 while flying F-14s off the aircraft carrier USS John F Kennedy. He subsequently graduated from the Navy Fighter Weapons School (TOPGUN) in Miramar, CA and trained others in air combat. Missing the camaraderie that can only be found in the military, he joined the Army Reserves as a surgeon and returned to Iraq in 2007. He brings to the Olympic Peninsula the experience, skill, and dedication afforded to few and absolutely necessary to serve the people of Northwest Washington.
Every client treated at Peninsula Medspas receives Dr Cain’s personal cell phone and pager number and he is available 24/7 to answer any questions and address any concerns.
